CBC The Current: Accommodating religious beliefs

Over the last few weeks, there has been a flurry of debate over the issue of religious accommodation.  In addition to legislative hearings on the proposed Quebec Charter of Values (which I have previously written about here), outrage erupted when a York University sociology professor went public about his disagreement with the University’s stance that he was required to accommodate a student who asserted a religious belief against interacting with women.

On Friday, January 10, I participate in a panel discussion of the issue on CBC Radio’s The Current.
